7 Stocks to Buy as Employees Prepare to Quit En Masse  2023/02/16 19:36:30 InvestorPlace
Although gainful employment may seemingly represent a source of gratitude during a season of layoffs, that might not be the case right now, thus cynically bolstering the narrative for specific stocks to buy. According to a late-Jan. 2023 report by Chicago-based staffing firm LaSalle Network, its survey found that 85% of U.S. workers may consider leaving their jobs in the next six months . If so, that would likely impose a radical paradigm shift in the labor force. To be clear, it’s not that 85% of workers already have their foot out the door. However, the magnitude of dissatisfaction should startle onlookers. For instance, the survey found that “39% of managers are dissatisfied with their roles, compared to only 29% of staff-level employees.” Therefore, a possible quitting en masse could cut a diverse range of career trajectories. Again, it’s unlikely that so many workers would just up and quit, particularly during a rough economic cycle. Nevertheless, investors should prepare for some discontent materializing in the form of resignation letters.
3 Stocks to Sell Now According to Analysts  2023/02/14 19:41:25 InvestorPlace
Finding stocks to sell that analysts are pessimistic about is a tough one. That’s because analysts are in the business of making their investment banking clients (or potential clients) look good. Consequently, you’ll often see many investment firms with hold ratings on particular companies. Of course, that indicates a negative view of a stock, but they don’t want to jeopardize the business relationship. It’s called sitting on the fence. For this article, I’ve selected three stocks to sell from the S&P Composite 1500 , where at least 10 analysts have a rating on the stock, and at least half of the ratings are “underweight” or outright “sell.” If analysts are willing to go out on a limb for a given stock, it’s often because there’s no hope of getting any business from the company. It could also be that it’s transparently obvious that the company is of poor quality. Ultimately, however, and I fall into this camp, it’s much easier to stand behind a business than tear it down. Of the three names selected, one is clearly a dud.
7 Stocks That Wall Street Hates — and YOU Should Buy!  2023/02/13 22:32:27 InvestorPlace
While it’s usually not the wisest move to trade against Wall Street experts, sometimes, they overlook certain ideas, presenting contrarian opportunities among stocks to buy. To be sure, the politics of the investment analysis world dictates that experts lean more bullishly; otherwise, it’s difficult to establish relationships with corporate movers and shakers. And this also implies that when analysts go bearish, they really mean it. Still, the experts don’t always get it right. For instance, many esteemed personalities on the Street criticized cryptocurrencies as nothing more than a fad several years ago. Today, the biggest business news agencies include major crypto prices in their ticker tape. That’s one example of ignoring assets or stocks to buy based on expert opinion that eventually imposed an opportunity cost. Nevertheless, investors should do their research to decide what’s best for them. In the meantime, here are some ideas for stocks to buy to kickstart that research process.

RHI Stock: Harsh Reality About to Hit the Labor Market  2022/07/22 17:20:34 TipRanks
Amid radical changes in the labor market following the COVID-19 crisis, shares of staffing agency Robert Half (RHI) spiked up through the early spring season of this year. However, tough economic circumstances have led to many investors hitting the exits. Nevertheless, it’s the troubled times that can also possibly create a rebound effect, thus making its present weakness a discounted opportunity. I am bullish on RHI stock. At the onset of the pandemic, U.S. real GDP slipped nearly 9% between the first quarter of 2020 and the second. Naturally, many households assumed the worst, bracing themselves for an apocalyptic outcome.
