The companies say their identical appearance cannot be replicated by regular influencers, and that sets them apart.Among the prominent twinfluencers of India are Surabhi and Samriddhi Mehra, aka Chinki Minki, who have gained over 3.4 million followers on Instagram and close to 800,000 subscribers on their YouTube channel in the past year.“We used to have individual social media accounts but one day we decided to post a few pictures of us together on Instagram,” said the 20-year-old sisters from New Delhi who were born 60 seconds apart.Soon after, TikTok India asked them to upload their twin content on the nowbanned short-video-sharing platform, recalled Samriddhi, the younger of the two siblings. “Our first-ever TikTok video got 10 million views.”Since then, Chinki Minki have been roped in by Mountain Dew, Lay’s, Emami’s Navratna Cool, Maybelline and a few others for their digital campaigns.“We have collaborated with twin influencers such as Surabhi and Samriddhi for brands across our portfolio,” said Naseeb Puri, director, Mountain Dew & Energy at PepsiCo India.“Working with twin influencers gives brands the advantage of co-curating powerful content with two personalities in a single content piece, allowing for stronger storytelling and more flexibility.”“We found their ‘double dose’ cool quotient just right for our Cool Oil & Cool Talc and our consumers loved the ‘coolness’ of the campaign,” an Emami spokesperson said on collaborating with the twinfluencers for its brand Navratna Cool.Twins are rare to find.

Redskins undergoing 'thorough review' of team name  2020/07/03 15:45:33 Connecticut Post
WASHINGTON (AP) - The Washington Redskins are undergoing a "thorough review" of their nickname. The team said Friday it has been talking to the NFL for weeks about the subject. In a statement, the team said recent events around the U.S. and feedback from the community prompted the formal review. "This process allows the team to take into account not only the proud tradition and history of the franchise but also input from our alumni, the organization, sponsors, the National Football League and the local community it is proud to represent on and off the field," owner Dan Snyder said. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said, "In the last few weeks, we have had ongoing discussions with Dan, and we are supportive of this important step." The recent national debate over racism renewed calls for the franchise to change the name, and sponsors this week started mounting their own pressure. Investors this week wrote to FedEx, PepsiCo and other sponsors asking them to request a change. FedEx, the title sponsor of the Redskins' stadium in Landover, Maryland, said Thursday, "We have communicated to the team in Washington our request that they change the team name." On Thursday night, Nike appeared to remove all Redskins gear from its online store.
