The recent American Express Leadership Academy, Delivered by Common Purpose and funded by American Express Foundation, focused a week of programming ‘resilient changemakers’ across workshops, talks, immersion sessions and guest speakers in and around London. Adirupta Sengupta, Group CEO of Common Purpose, reflected on what the 57 participants from nonprofits across the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa might bring home to their communities: “I hope the Academy has given each leader tools to build on what they already have in abundance as they continue to change the world.
