The first Contemporary Curated sale at our new headquarters on Madison Avenue is now on view to the public and features work curated by New York-based interior designer, Alyssa Kapito. With her focus on minimalist design, Kapito brought the sale to life inside the Breuer’s brutalist structure. By lending her eye to the exhibition, Kapito highlights the texture, materiality, and color at play in this dynamic collection of works. Contemporary Curated will take place on 25 February at #SothebysNewYork. It will include landmark artists of the postwar era, such as Donald Judd, Alma Thomas, and Helen Frankenthaler, alongside leading voices in contemporary art today.
