What does person-centred HIV care look like in practice? Community leaders, healthcare professionals and researchers share their perspectives on the challenges, opportunities and unmet needs shaping HIV care today. Drawing on personal and professional experience, they discuss the importance of listening to communities, addressing barriers to care and developing services that respond to people's individual needs and circumstances. They also explore the role of collaboration, community engagement and advocacy in advancing more equitable, responsive and person-centred HIV services. Launched in 2021 by IAS, the Person-Centered Care (PCC) programme in collaboration with Gilead is transforming HIV services by putting people’s needs at the heart of care. Through personal and professional stories of those directly involved, we celebrate the programme’s success so far and demonstrate the power of person-centered care in ending the #HIV epidemic globally.
