Your data model is the foundation of your application and yet it’s ever-evolving. In this talk, you'll learn how to do just that. We’ll take you through the evolution of a MongoDB data model by setting up your MongoDB environment, prototyping and running your first queries in MongoDB by pairing with MongoDB Copilot extension in VS Code. Then, we’ll highlight how to identify and rectify data modeling anti-patterns. By the end of the talk, you should understand some basic principles of data modeling with MongoDB and feel comfortable experimenting with your data model using MongoDB Copilot extension & MongoDB developer tools.
