In this demo, you learn how to create a secure, native connection from Oracle AI Data Platform Workbench to Oracle Analytics Cloud using the Oracle Analytics Cloud native connector. This connection lets you access, analyze, and visualize curated data from Oracle AI Data Platform Workbench in Oracle Analytics Cloud, or OAC without manual exports or complex integrations. You start by generating and managing an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure API key from your OCI profile. You verify the fingerprint on the Tokens and Keys page, ensure your public and private keys are saved locally, and add a new API key if needed. Next, in Oracle AI Data Platform Workbench, you confirm the Spark compute cluster you plan to use is active, open its connection details, and download the Oracle Analytics Cloud connector configuration file. You rename the file and verify that the fingerprint in the config file matches the fingerprint associated with your OCI API key, updating the file if necessary. You then switch to Oracle Analytics Cloud and create a new connection by uploading the connection file and private key. After that, you select the Workbench catalog you want to access. The demo shows that each Oracle Analytics Cloud connection to an AI Data Platform Workbench instance supports one catalog per connection, so you choose the catalog that matches your analytics needs and save the connection after setup succeeds. Finally, you validate the connection by creating a dataset in Oracle Analytics Cloud using the new connection. You expand schemas, open the bronze and silver nodes, select tables for the dataset, and build a workbook to confirm the data aggregates correctly and supports analysis and visualization.
