Food, family, and storytelling are at the heart of Black culture, yet studies show one topic often gets left off the table: cancer. Actor, culinary creator, and cancer community advocate Tia Mowry is partnering with Pfizer and the American Cancer Society (ACS) for a video series called “Rewrite the Recipe.” The series aims to help address cancer disparities in Black communities and inspire conversations about family cancer history at dinner tables across the country. In each episode, Tia joins guests impacted by cancer as they gather in the kitchen to cook, connect, and share their journeys.
