At Red Hat Summit 2026 in Atlanta, GA, Distinguished Engineer Fabien Dupont demonstrates how the Red Hat portfolio can power a humanoid robot using containerized workloads at the edge.
Red Hat OpenShift AI manages everything, from large-scale model training to virtual environment inferencing and model registries. From there, Red Hat Edge Manager deploys lightweight operating system images using Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) image mode directly onto edge devices. This allows the robot to perceive the visual world and interact with humans in real time, while safely sending operational data back to the central platform.
