How do you modernize century-old enterprise infrastructure for AI and cloud-native operations? Gates Corporation, a global manufacturing leader for over 100 years, needed to overhaul its digital assembly line to prepare for the future. In this customer showcase, discover how Gates Corporation collaborated with Netlabs and Red Hat to execute a large-scale digital infrastructure modernization. Faced with legacy virtual machines (VMs) and multi-cloud complexities, Gates migrated over 350 VMs and re-engineered dozens of applications to containers using Red Hat OpenShift. Diego Silva from Gates Corporation shares how this transformation went beyond software to upskill global teams, enabling edge processing and AI-driven defect detection directly on the factory floor. 00:00 Upgrading the digital assembly line 00:56 Diego Silva on changing the foundation 01:24 A technology and people transformation 01:56 Selecting Red Hat OpenShift as the foundation 02:02 Netlabs assists with 350+ VM migration 02:38 Deploying AI defect detection at the edge 03:04 Hybrid cloud workload flexibility Resources & Next Steps:Explore how Red Hat OpenShift helps modernize your virtual infrastructure: 🚀 Learn about Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization → https://www.redhat.com/en/products/virtualization 💡 Find more about Netlabs → https://www.netlabs.us #openshift #RedHat #Virtualization #VMMigration #EdgeComputing #Manufacturing #AI #HybridCloud
