Unilever is using cleaner, smarter energy across our operations, cutting costs and carbon – and building business resilience. Lewis Rae, our Senior Procurement Manager for Global Strategic Planning and Advocacy, explains how. By the end of 2025, we had reduced greenhouse gas emissions from our own operations by 77% from a 2015 baseline – sourcing 85% renewable electricity globally. Now, we’re working hard to: - Expand renewable heat and electrify thermal processes - Replace fossil fuels with sustainably sourced biofuels - Share learnings with our suppliers to help them decarbonise their operations #UnileverNews #UnileverInnovations
