Verizon partnered with FOX Entertainment to help overcome production challenges faced during season two of the reality show Extracted.
Filming 12 contestants across four square miles of Canadian wilderness with extremely limited connectivity, FOX needed to connect 25 video sources and 20 comms devices and tackle the post-production bottleneck of over 100,000 hours of raw footage.
To solve this, Verizon deployed a Private 5G Network, and trialed a live data API and Edge AI platform, to help make the show a success.
